Hello from San Antonio
Hello everyone from San Antonio, Texas. We are having a good time on our trip so far. :)
Flew down to Miami Beach on Dec. 30th and got together with Kirsty and Laraine who were on vacation there.
Spent some time at two different malls on the 31st. The weather was so amazing. It was much more summer weather than New Year's Eve. Shorts and flip flops weather. The low for night time was 74 F.
On the 1st we flew on to San Antonio where we met up with my parents who are on vacation here. They have a time share they traded for the one they own in Spain. It's a really nice place on the outskirts of San Antonio, more like a condo than a hotel. The place has two bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a kitchen, livingroom, all spread out over 2 floors.
Tuesday we went to a town called Fredericksburg which was really neat, loads of pretty stores and nice storefronts. Had a super yummy dinner at the Salt Grass steakhouse.
Today we went to downtown San Antonio, checked out some cool mansions and went to the Alamo right downtown. The weather was rather dreary today but at least it didn't start pouring until later in the day. Sitting at a Starbucks right now and gonna have dinner in a little while.

Still owe replies to: Michelle/Winnipeg, Nadine/Tenerife, Nicole/CH, Jetta/Finland and Lena/Germany. And of course whatever mail is waiting for me back home (but at least I am making decent progress in catchng up *g*)
