Border-house

A very snowy weekend. :) It started snowing Friday night and continued snowing until early Sunday morning. Altogether we probably got around 16 inches of snow or so. Definitely A LOT of snow. :)

Here are some pictures I took on Saturday. It was snowing pretty heavy at that time. Click on the thumbnails to see the larger photo. :)

 

And here are some pictures I took today. It stopped snowing and now looks like a winter wonderland out there. :)

Tree03

We decorated the tree tonight so I thought I would show off a picture of our work. :)
It turned out very pretty. I love decorating the tree. Once you have the Christmas tree it almost immediately feels a lot more like Christmas.

I have the weekend off which is just as well since we are expecting a blizzard here in the North East. It started snowing tonight and will probably continue snowing until Sunday morning. We might get as much as a foot of snow or more. We will see how it turns out.

Since I am not working tomorrow I am actually kind of excited about the snow. It should make for a real "Winter Wonderland" out there.
I will spend my day writing Christmas cards I think. :)

Tree04

I finally updated my webpage with the new Christmas layout. Take a look here. :)

I am starting to get into the Christmas spirit. We put up our Christmas decorations at work yesterday which was fun. Haven't done anything at home yet but hopefully we will get to put the tree up tomorrow. We will see.

Ended up getting pizza for dinner tonight. I had a long day at work and didn't feel like cooking after we got home. Oh well.

Had a fun lunch with my friend Sharon at the mall at Ruby Tuesday's. Was very yummy as always. And my co-worker Dan took care of most of my work while I was away so that was nice. :)

Well I am off to watch a movie. Good night. :)

Snowflakes1
 The day started off with waking up to a horrible traffic report. We had lots of ice and some snow flurries over night which caused a ton of bad accidents, road closures and so on. It was really only a dusting of snow (here in Danbury anyway) but I guess it was mostly the ice that caused the roads to be so bad.

After work we went to see Nanny. She was in a better mood today which was good. After that we ran a bunch of errands. Did a lot of my Christmas shopping and went grocery shopping as well.

I am exhausted now. :) But at least we got a lot done today.
