Had a really long day at work yesterday (Sunday). Went in at 8 am for a project we were doing and didn't get out until 10:30 at night. It was horrible. Everything that could have possibly went wrong went wrong.
Today wasn't much better. I was there from 8 till 6:30. At least it wasn't 10:30 tonight. Went out after work to get something to eat and have some drinks. Think we both needed that.
Well at least our paychecks will be really good this week since we both got A LOT of overtime on Sunday.
Well, let's hope the rest of the week won't be as hellish. :)

Just finished my book "A Summer in the Country" by Marcia Willett. Really nice book. Makes me want to go to England. :) I made a cup of tea for myself while reading it .. very cozy. :)
The weather is very nice as well. Sunny and warm but not brutally hot anymore, also the humidity has gone away. It's just a very nice summer day.
Have to go to work tomorrow. Doing some project ... not really looking forward to going to work on a Sunday but oh well. At least the paycheck will be nice this week. :)

Had an ok day at work. My friend Sharon picked me up after work and we went for dinner to the Olive Garden. Very, very yummy.
I had yummy Italian food and feel really full now. But it was worth it. :)
It's still HOT. Not sure how long this heat spell is gonna last but it sure is hot and humid.
Mike had no voice at all today and I was walking around with him today at work being his voice. I hope he gets better soon.

HOT HOT HOT ... we went from cloudy and rainy to super hot and humid. I am not sure what's worse. :) I guess I am happy that the sun is finally shining but it's still way too hot.
Oh well .. no sense in complaining about the weather.
Not too much else new. Mike's been sick, first with a fever, then cough and now he's losing his voice. Let's hope he gets better soon. :)
Well, I'll go and continue reading my book "A summer in the country" by Marcia Willett.

Sunday ... and more rain .. of course. Well it's actually sort of cloudy out, not really raining. But it's definitely not a gorgeous summer day - oh well.
A good day to stay inside with a cup of tea and redo my webpage. :)
I changed the cat page so you can all take a look at my new cat index page. Let me know how you like it. :)
I also added another cat page for my Austrian cat Stupsi so go have a look at that.
Well, guess that's all that's new for today. Going out to dinner to Legal Seafoods later.

Had a really good time at the baseball game yesterday. The day couldn't have been more perfect. Sunny weather, not a single cloud in the sky, with just a little bit of a breeze. A perfect summer day.
We had a good time. Got there in time to watch the parade before the game and had dinner and icecream after the game. Great day !
Today it was back to work ... same old same old. Fighting a cold and feeling sort of miserable today. I think I am ready to curl up on my bed together with my favorite cutie cat Ollie and a big cup of tea after work.

Hi everybody !
This is my first entry in my online journal. I'll try and keep it updated so you have an idea of what's going on in my life.
Feel free to comment and send me ideas on how I can improve it.
This weekend we went to Philadelphia to meet with a friend of mine from England. She's in the US over the summer visiting with her fiance. It was fun seeing them again. It was brutally hot and humid but I guess I have been wishing for warm weather so you always gotta be careful what you wish for. :)
I have the day off tomorrow as well and we are going to Cooperstown, NY to watch a baseball game at the Baseball Hall of Fame. Should be fun.
