A Day in Hanna's World

Had an ok day today. My morning was pretty uneventful and I got to leave work around 2 o'clock which was nice. I had some personal time left that I had to use before the year is over.

I decided to spend the afternoon at the mall which was lots of fun of course. :) I had some money saved up from my birthday so I decided to blow it on all the good Post-Christmas Sales.

There were definitely a bunch of great deals out there (got 50 % off on a few things) and I am very happy with all the stuff I bought.

Here are all the things I bought: A sweater, a black shirt, nice pants, another shirt, a frame, some Christmas cards (stocking up for next year *g*), a bunch of lotions, shower gels, body sprays and soaps at Bath and Body Works and a really great jacket. I have been wanting a jacket like that for a while now so I was very happy to find one for such a great price.

After my little shopping spree I walked back over to where I work (the mall is right across the street from Mike's and my workplace) cause Mike was still at work finishing up a big project he has been working on.

When we get out of here we will go grocery shopping and probably call it a night after that.

It's already New Year's Eve tomorrow. Where has the year gone ? We won't be doing anything big really. I plan on making some spinach dip and having some appetizers. We will have a quiet evening and watch New Year's Eve at Times Square on TV (just too many people for me - I couldn't handle actually being there myself).

Not much new really. :) Was a quiet day at work on Friday and Satuday wasn't too bad either.

Have today off which is nice although I haven't really been doing anything. Talked to my friend Joanne online for a while and surfed the web.

We cleaned up some stuff around the house and tried to get rid of all the Christmas clutter. :)

I made a ham and cheese toast with my new sandwich maker today which was very yummy. :)

Tomorrow it's back to work already. Hopefully the week won't be so bad. Can't believe it's almost 2004.

Had a very boring morning and a very busy afternoon at work. I hate being all stressed out and super busy in the afternoon. It makes me be cranky and grumpy. Definitely not a good thing. :)

Had pizza for dinner. We tried out a new place that just opened not too long ago. It's called "Goodfella's Pizza".

We got mushroom and garlic pizza with some garlic bread with fresh mozzarella. Now I am all garlicky and can probably deter any vampires that might come my way. :)

Had a bubble bath just now to try and de-stress from work. Think I might go to bed early today.

Irritated .... that's how I have been feeling all day. I am not sure what exactly caused it but it's just been one of those days.

I am hoping tomorrow will be better since I have the day off. I will be able to sleep in and spend the day with my favorite cat Ollie. :)

I will also try to get some presents wrapped and finish up my Christmas cards and mail. Still have a lot of gifts to wrap and mail. It's fun to have friends and family all over the world but it's also stressful.

Well I am off to bed and hoping for a better day tomorrow. :)
